Being a student, I often have a tough time finding opportunity to prep meals for my day or week. Talking with a climbing buddy of mine over the summer, he suggested something lots of day climbers do- pack food into jars. Mason jars, leftover salsa jars, anything that can condense a meal into a small space. Climbers have to move quickly with as little weight as possible, and I kind of figured students do as well, in a sense. I don’t want to lug around a backpack full of books and a lunch box; at that point I’ll just go to Chipotle. My solution? Jar salad! This took me under 8 minutes to make, and the total cost of all items shown in the picture is under 20 dollars, and can last you 4 days.
