My name is Craig Feringa. I am currently an attorney who, in my past professional life was a Registered Nurse. While I have cared for many people with cancer, I have not had the personal challenges that many of my fellow riders have faced, and it is truly my honor to ride with all who have experienced the fearful uncertainty that a diagnosis of cancer brings. Cycling is life to me. It is the method by which I try and maintain a healthful lifestyel. I started cycling 20 years ago when my second daughter was born. I bought an inexpensive mountain bike and a bike trailer for my daughter. Later I started riding on my own with a road bike and the rest is history. Cycling is something most anyone can do. You don’t have to ride 300 miles in two days to get the benefits.

Way to go, Craig! More power to you and the others on this ride. Ah to be young(er)!!!!! Glad you find biking such a monumental experience. It scares me, especially after J’s 2 horrible accidents. Something for everyone to enjoy in life.
