Cuomo_MargaretBoard member of Lesscancer.org (Next Generation Choices Foundation), and author of the book A World Without Cancer, Margaret I. Cuomo, MD will be speaking at the Purdue North Central Sinai Forum on December 8, 2013 at Michigan City High School.In.

Dr. Cuomo is a board certified radiologist, teaching professional, and national advocate for the prevention of cancer. She has been interviewed on many TV shows including: Good Morning America, Good Day New York, Morning Joe, and Inside Edition. 

Dr. Cuomo has made several appearances on national and regional radio programs. She has been featured in magazines and newspapers, including Better Homes and Gardens, Education Update, Family Circle, Glamour, InStyle, Manhattan, Metro Newspapers, Networking, New York Daily News, O Magazine, Parade, People, Prevention, Redbook, Vogue and Women’s Day, and on-line sites (DoctorOz.com, Glamour.com, DailyBeast.com, Prevention.com.

A contributor and member of the Medical Review Board of the Huffington Post, Dr. Cuomo is also a regular contributor to WebMD.

The Sinai Forum in Indiana was founded in1953. The Forum’s mission is to provide affordable, exceptional programming on important issues of the day in a town hall setting for residents of Michigan City. Past speakers have included Nobel Prize recipients, former Heads of State, Pulitzer Prize winners, scientists, nationally recognized media personalities such as Oprah Winfrey, and famous performing artists. First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt was also a guest speaker at the Forum.
